I just bought a new shirt for running from Road Runner Sports, the Korsa Automatic Short Sleeve, and as I was cutting off the tags I noticed one looked like a die-cut trading card! It features the silhouette of a runner cresting a hill on a wet morning. The cut is superb - nice angles with a tab that sticks out on the left side indicating the shirt is part of the Run Series in Korsa’s product line. Information reassures the purchaser that they chose the right shirt for race day! Should I save it and add it to my collection? As a card collector and runner, it’s very rare to see trading cards produced about the sport I love and participated in since 1983. There is the occasional exception with the Olympic & Paralympic set produced by Topps and the occasional pull from Allen & Ginter. The card is a little taller than a standard trading card, but nevertheless I think I’ll keep it. A clothes tag? Yep, it’s not a card but it’s definitely a saver!
