Stranger Things - Season 4.2
July 10, 2022

Stranger Things continues with Season 4.2.  Will Eleven's powers get fully restored?  Will she and her friends save Hawkins once more?  Season 4.2 was released on July 1 but I no longer have a Netflix subscription.  I'm heading over to my mother-in-law's house to binge watch the show!

1998 Dart Gilligan's Island

Gilligan's Island was one of my favorite shows as a kid enjoying his long summer break from school.  My brother-in-law picked these up for me from 2022 Comic-Con.  I hope I get some of Mr. & Mrs. Howell, my favorite characters!

She Hulk

I've never read the comics but am intrigued to see how this series shapes up.  Seeing an attorney representing those with super-powers and then obtaining such powers herself will be interesting.  Afterall, what kind of trouble can she get into, right?

2022 Topps Baseball Series 2 Hanger Box

I was at Target and caught the clerk re-stocking the trading cards.  Another collector was chatting with her, and so I went around him to grab a box.  Apparently the section was closed, but the kind lady allowed me to grab an item if I knew what I wanted.  Asking for the Topps Baseball, the fellow collector said, "Excellent Choice!"

2021 Topps Baseball Update Series Blaster Box

A local big box retailer, who shall remain nameless, now carries Topps trading cards.  I don't think anyone in the area realizes this, so this is now my go-to location to grab cards.  I've had this box of 2021 Topps Update Baseball sitting in the closet for months and now I'm going to see what it holds!

1978 Topps Battlestar Galactica Wax Pack

Watching Battlestar Galactica was a weekly ritual as a kid.  The Cylons were fearsome with their cycloptic red eye, synthesized voice, and lack of all human emotion.  I'm not sure what's included in this set, but I hope to pull any of their cards and the spaceship they flew!

Star Wars:  Andor

Cassian Andor was introduced in Star Wars: Rogue One as a rebel to the Empire with a dark past and objectionable moral standards.  Yet, through the influence of Jyn Erso, became a man with higher standards - a harder path that ultimately lead to his death.  In this series, we hope to learn the background of Cassian and how he fell in with the rebel alliance.

I got last minute tickets and am heading to Petco Park to catch the San Diego Padres battle against the Chicago White Sox.  My first live baseball since 2017!  Go Padres!

Did you know that you can earn redeemable points whenever you purchase Disney products?  A few years ago I redeemed my points for these 5x7 Topps Star Wars:  The Last Jedi Cards.  I'm hoping Rey is in the set!

2021 Magic The Gathering - Innistrad Midnight Hunt Booster Pack

I'm the biggest dunce when it comes to learning how to play MTG, but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy the artwork on these cards.  Highly detailed and easily obtainable, I always enjoying adding a pack of these to the shopping cart.  Now it's time to open a booster pack of Midnight Hunt!
